Dental veneers last 5 to 10 years if composite and 10 to 15 years or more if porcelain or ceramic. Longevity depends on material, daily hygiene, avoiding very hard foods, and periodic check-ups. Ceramic veneers maintain color and aesthetics better long term.
Veneer price varies by material and technique. In Spain approximate prices are:
- Composite veneer: from €120 – €250
- Porcelain / high-aesthetic veneer: from €450

After removing veneers, teeth may be temporarily sensitive but return to normal with proper care.
- With composite, it is possible to return almost to the original smile.

Possible disadvantages include:
- Temporary sensitivity after the procedure

- Not suitable for all cases (severe bruxism, inflamed gums — those issues must be resolved first)
- Composite veneers may darken over time
